Posting messages
Only list members can post, and only from the email address with
which they are subscribed. If you send an email from a non-member
address you will get an email back from the system, informing you
that your message is being held for moderation
To post a message to the list, email it to cclist@corporatecoaches.net
Retrieving your password
To make changes to your membership you need to know your password.
If necessary, you can have your password emailed to you
To retrieve your password, go to the list
admin page. Enter your email address at the very end of the
screen. Click on the "Unsubscribe or edit options" button.
At the end of the next screen click on the "Remind" button.
Wait a few minutes and check your email
Unsubscribing
See also "Holiday mode", below. To permanently unsubscribe,
go to the list
admin page. Enter your email address at the very end of the
screen. Click on the "Unsubscribe or edit options" button.
On the next screen click on the "Unsubscribe" button.
The system will email you a confirmation request. Wait a few minutes
and check your email.
Digest mode
You can either receive the list messages one at a time or you can
receive them as a daily digest. The daily digest comes in plain
text or in MIME format. With the plain text digest you will receive
one email with the readable text from all the messages, with the
rest (images, attachments, etc) accessible via a website link. With
the MIME digest you receive one email which all of the messages
included as attachments
To change your digest settings, go to the list
admin page. At the start of the page enter your email address
and your password. Click on the "Log in" button. On the
next screen, half way down, change your digest settings. Click on
the "Submit my changes" button at the end of the screen
Holiday mode ('nomail')
You may occasionally want to disable message delivery, for instance
during holidays. Instead of unsubscribing you can switch to holiday
mode
To switch holiday mode on or off, go to the list
admin page. At the start of the page enter your email address
and your password. Click on the "Log in" button. On the
next screen, about half way down, change the "message delivery"
option. Click on the "Submit my changes" button at the
end of the screen
Changing your email address
To change your email address, go to the list
admin page. At the start of the page enter your old email address
and your password. Click on the "Log in" button. In the
first input box ("New address") and the second input box
("Again to confirm") enter your new email address. Click
on the "Change my name and address" button
You will receive a confirmation request at the new email address.
Follow the instructions in the confirmation request to complete
the change
List archive
The list has a members-only archive, from late August 2003
